Estimated Age:  Paleo-Indian: 8150 B.C. - 8010 B.C. 
Occurrence:  Found throughout Texas but is rare.
Characteristics:  Unfluted, lanceolate point with lateral edges that are often parallel approximately three quarters of the lenght from the base. Base varies from mildly to strongly concave with basal edge grinding. Base is usually thinned by several longitudinal flakes removed from the base.
Similar Types:  Clovis
Comments:  Turner & Hester state scattered surface finds are reported statewide but excavated sites are limited to the Texas Panhandle, central Texas and the Lower Pecos.
